STRATEGICALLY INCREASE INSURANCE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS
The winter hazards of living in Illinois can be numerous. Everything from ice storms, blizzards, black ice, snow build up, extreme wintry weather, etc. If you’ve lived in the Midwest long enough, you know that that these can be big issues if not attended to.
Peace of mind with for a few more dollars a month
Some customers are opting to be proactive with their insurance during the winter months by adding a little more cushion to their existing Auto & Home Insurance policies by either decreasing their deductibles or adding a bit more coverage to protect from the unforeseen.
Holidays can also mean more risk
The holiday season can be magical. It can also add added risk to your family and property. According to the Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) , “30% of all home fires occur during the months of December through February” and to add to the winter month risk, about 5,800 individuals are treated annually in hospital emergency rooms for injuries sustained from falls involving holiday decorations. Not just electrically-related but because someone actually tripped over cords. See a great video interview with a fireman discussing these very issues, here.
